Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and the app operator (name temporarily unavailable), the operator of Monster Matches. They cover accounts, games, community features, and content you submit.
The Privacy Policy explains information handling. The Copyright Policy explains copyright complaints. The community and upload rules below are part of these Terms. Agreeing to these Terms does not purchase a subscription, authorize a payment, or provide consent to every possible use of personal information.
Accounts and your agreement
Provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Do not impersonate another person or transfer access to someone to evade an account restriction.
Email/password and Google signup use the same agreement step. Signing in with Google does not by itself accept these Terms. You can read the linked policies and sign out without agreeing.
Play fairly and respect other people
These rules apply to usernames, profiles, chat, support messages, uploaded files, and any custom cards made available in the future.
- Do not harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or target people with hateful abuse. Do not post sexual exploitation material or content that endangers children.
- Do not share someone else’s private information or images without the permissions the law requires. Nonconsensual intimate images, including digitally created or altered images, are prohibited.
- Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, or other rights. Do not falsely suggest that a creator, brand, or person endorses your content or this app.
- Do not cheat, manipulate rankings, distribute malware, spam, bypass access restrictions, or disrupt the service. Use only automation that the app expressly permits.
- Do not evade moderation or account restrictions by creating or using another account.
Your content and the permission the app needs
You keep whatever ownership rights you have in content you submit. You must have the rights or another valid legal basis needed for the way you upload and share it. Finding an image online, buying a copy, adding credit, or drawing a protected character yourself does not automatically provide those rights.
You give us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, copy, format, resize, transmit, and display your submitted content only as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain it, and address safety, support, or legal issues. We may let service providers perform those tasks for us. This permission does not transfer your ownership or authorize us to use your content in unrelated advertising or to sell it as a separate product.
This permission covers only rights you can lawfully grant. It does not override third-party license conditions or turn an unauthorized upload into an authorized one. Include required credits and license information, and do not remove watermarks or rights notices to conceal their source.
When you remove content or close your account, permission for ordinary new sharing ends. Permission continues only for the limited use and period reasonably needed to complete delivery already in progress, keep an account archive for possible reinstatement, protect the service, address a dispute, or meet a legal obligation, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy. Keeping an archive does not authorize new public sharing or unrelated reuse. We cannot recall copies another person has already received. A copyright or safety restriction may stop access immediately, including during a game.
Custom cards, if the feature becomes available
Custom card creation is a planned feature, not a promise of availability with an account or paid tier. The plan allows all registered users to submit their own sets. Only the owner can host a game using their custom set, but any signed-in user can find and join that game and see its cards. Do not upload images on the assumption that only you or invited friends will see them. Custom sets are not planned for official competitive games.
Custom cards may be subject to limits, review, removal, and changes to availability. Passing a content review does not mean we have verified copyright ownership, licensed a character, or endorsed the content. Permission to use custom cards in one game does not permit copying or reusing them elsewhere.
Membership benefits and possible paid plans
The app currently has account tiers and member benefits. An integrated subscription purchase, recurring billing, and cancellation service is not currently available. A tier label alone does not establish a purchase or a promise that a future feature is included.
If paid plans are introduced, their price, billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be explained before purchase. Accepting these Terms does not authorize a payment.
Moderation, restrictions, and complaints
We may review or restrict content, features, or accounts to enforce these rules, protect people and the service, or respond to legal obligations. We may act urgently when needed. A paying account is subject to the same content and copyright rules.
Our copyright process includes termination of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. A complaint is not automatically a court finding of infringement. The Copyright Policy explains the information needed for a complaint and how to dispute a removal made by mistake.
Contact us to report a problem or ask for review of an account or content decision. Describe the account, content, or game involved and why you believe the decision should change. For harmful images, provide their location or identifier; do not attach or redistribute child sexual exploitation material. Do not send unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Availability and responsibility
The game may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability of particular features, or the accuracy or lawfulness of other users’ content. Take care when sharing information with other players.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from its use. These limits do not exclude liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including any applicable protection against fraud or intentional misconduct.
We retain our rights in the app and its own content. Other creators retain their rights in their materials. Your permission to play does not give you ownership of the app or unrestricted rights to other people’s artwork.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when these Terms change. We will give notice of material changes through a prominent in-app notice or the email address associated with your account, and request a new agreement where appropriate or required. Your acceptance of an earlier version does not automatically authorize a materially different use of personal information or a new payment.
